Monnis Greek Restaurant review
Monnis has gone through many different guises. There was The Spread Eagle, Elements, Legends, and now Monnis and Mezzo. The cross between the Mediterranean and Tudor character of the decor makes the most of its traditional features and it is hard to believe that this was once a nightclub. Most of the building has been restored to its traditional roots and the entrance is once again the same as how it would have been in the 16th century.

There are various pubs within the local area that have beer gardens, but the White Hart has been the first to react to the increase in temperature by having music in their garden. It wasn’t too loud and made the garden area seem more exciting.

Super Mario?
Everybody likes a different variety of pizza: my father has one that takes on many of the characteristics of a chicken vindaloo; my motherʼs appears to be topped with the contents of Paul McCartneyʼs shopping basket following a trip to Morrisonʼs vegetable aisle; and my favourite takes on the strange combination of sweetcorn, pineapple and prawns. I donʼt profess that this is many peopleʼs favourite topping, nor do I think it should be considered a standard choice from the menu, but I have started to notice that the option of prawns is disappearing from many of our local pizza menus, and this is why I chose Marioʼs Pizza as the first takeaway to be reviewed.
