Glenn Pennyfather’s promotion-hunting Chelmsford City side will host Blue Square Bet South opponents Weston-Super-Mare on Monday 20th February at 7:45p.m, now the previously frostbitten game at Melbourne Stadium has been allocated a new date.

The game was postponed last Saturday due to a frozen pitch and the Clarets hope the weather will be kinder to them this weekend when they travel to Dorchester Town, also in the league. The two clubs are in constant dialogue regarding the conditions of the surface at The Jewson Stadium although it is still too early to make any decisions.

Chelmsford City manager Glenn Pennyfather doesn’t believe that the recent spell of bad weather will affect his team’s performances in the second half of the season.

Speaking to www.BlueSqSouth.com, Pennyfather said ‘We all just move the fixtures on and it was important that we didn't fall behind with our games while we were in the cups, which we haven't done.’
